March Sketch Crawl

The results of the Facebook poll are in and the majority of voters (2 out of 4) have opted for the Royal Alberta Museum for our next sketch crawl. I’m really excited. The place is a treasure trove of images just waiting to be drawn. The current feature exhibits are: Chop Suey on the Prairies, Pattern Wizardry, and Species at Risk.

And of course, there are bugs and dinosaur bones and rocks and the Aboriginal Culture gallery, and so much more. If you can, you should think about staying past our usual lunch break time for more sketching.

Admission is $5.50 before 11:00 so we’ll get a head start by meeting at 10:30. How does that sound, everyone? I really hope to see a big turnout and some new faces!

So to recap.  We’ll meet at 10:30 on Saturday, March 1 at the Royal Alberta Museum.  Click here for directions.

Chop Suey on the Prairies?! A culinary fantasy for a North-end Winnipegger from the fifties. Can’t wait! See you there.

March 1 is a Sunday, and the original email suggested March 7 (which is a Saturday). Please clarify. Thanks. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Dianne, It looks like you found the post from last year, 2014. This year, the March sketch crawl is on Saturday, March 7. Please see the post I posted today regarding voting for a choice of venue. I look forward to meeting you too!
